Caroline Shen joined Demco Law Firm in 2023 shortly after being admitted to the Washington State Bar.
During law school, Caroline worked as a summer extern at the Snohomish Public Defender’s Association and as a student intern at her school’s Criminal Justice Reform Clinic, focusing on post-conviction relief. In her final year of law school, she worked for the Legal Eviction Defense Program at the Clear Clinic, housed within Portland Community College, where she gained valuable knowledge and insights into landlord-tenant relations and the complexities of legal eviction processes.
Caroline earned her J.D. from Lewis & Clark Law School in Portland, Oregon, where she was honored with a Pro Bono Honors Award for her exceptional service to the community. She received her B.A. in Law, Societies & Justice from the University of Washington.
Caroline is fully fluent in Mandarin Chinese and is a proud member of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association. Outside of her professional endeavors, she enjoys weightlifting, exploring new culinary experiences, and watching stand-up comedy.
