Dakota Nelson graduated cum laude from the University of Arizona with a B.S. in Psychology. She then attended California Western School of Law in San Diego where she graduated in 2020. In law school, Dakota was invited to be a member of the school’s Law Review and International Journal.  She spent a year working at the California Innocence Project during which she was honored for her advocacy skills as the recipient of the Professor Janeen Kerper Scholarship for Criminal Defense Advocacy.
